L'Oréal Professionnel Dia Activateur is the dedicated cream developer designed specifically for use with L'Oréal’s professional demi-permanent colour ranges, Dia Richesse (alkaline technology) and Dia Light (acidic technology). It is formulated to ensure smooth mixing, predictable colour development, and an ultra-shiny finish while remaining gentle on the hair.

The Three Available Strengths:

Instead of standard permanent peroxides, this system uses three specific low-volume strengths to achieve different technical results:

• 6 Volume (1.8%):
• Best For: Gentle colour deposits on sensitised or highly porous hair.
• Use Case: It is the ideal partner for Dia Light when toning pre-lightened blonde hair, refreshing faded mid-lengths and ends, or doing a gloss service without lifting the natural base.
• 9 Volume (2.7%):
• Best For: Standard demi-permanent colouring and maintaining the same depth level.
• Use Case: Perfect for matching a natural base colour, blending up to 30% grey hair, or refreshing an existing shade on hair that is not overly damaged.
• 15 Volume (4.5%):
• Best For: Maximum vibrancy, slight lifting, and enhanced coverage.
• Use Case: Used primarily with Dia Richesse to blend up to 70% grey hair, provide a subtle lift (up to 1.5 levels) on natural hair, or make vibrant shades like reds and coppers pop.
